The largest fire alarm distributor located in Glendale Arizona, is looking for a Purchasing Specialist/Buyer to research, negotiate, and executes purchase of parts, equipment and supplies for the following:

Specific jobs as directed by project managerInventory as needed for ongoing service and repair requirementsInternal administrative requirementsCoordinates the paperwork and approvals require to execute each purchase

EducationAssociate or Bachelor Degree from accredited institution preferred but not required.

ExperienceMinimum two to five years related experience in related industry.Experience in accounting/enterprise software solutions such as Timberline, Great Plains/MS Dynamics, Solomon, etc.Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Outlook or similar desktop applications.

SkillsMust be an effective communicator with strong negotiation and leadership skills.Required high level of attention to detail and accuracy.Must be self motivated and able to work independently.Demonstrate problem solving skills.
