Once in a lifetime opportunity to join our companies’ fasting growing division, Jewelry Production as a PURCHASING/PRODUCTION CONTROL ASSISTANT!

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

·  Purchasing: Creates purchase orders for acquisition of materials. Researches, and negotiates with suppliers to obtain prices and specifications.

·  Follow up on open purchase orders – communicate effectively with outside vendors.

·  Process work orders in order to keep the factory busy as well as product flowing into the shipping department.

·  Shipping instructions – make good cost effective business decisions on how to transport merchandise from overseas.

·  Work in process reports – monitor weekly all On Going, Express and New styles to determine availability dates.

·  Attend hardware meetings keeping supervisor informed of status of problems/issues/concerns.

 

Qualifications:

 

·  Computer literate in Excel and WindX programs

·  2 – 4 years experience

·  Detail oriented/problem solver/ with high sense of urgency

·  The ability to communicate well

·  The ability to Multi-task and prioritize responsibilities

·  The ability to make quick decisions

·  Great Customer Service Skills

·  Excellent follow through
