52-year National Manufacturer of Automotive Car Care Products and Equipment offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified, experienced Purchasing Manager. Located in the North San Fernando Valley, our competitive compensation package includes 401k, medical, dental and life insurance.

Applicant must possess the following Skills and Attributes:

• Strong Negotiating Skills in procuring goods and services, raw materials, equipment, tools, parts and supplies.

• Researching and negotiating with vendors to obtain competitive pricing for quality products and services.

• Preparing purchase orders and bid requests.

• Maintaining accounting and procurement records.

• Coordinating material scheduling for on-time delivery to appropriate departments.

• Supervising a staff.

• Knowledge of Windows Office Programs and MRP, ERP programs required.

• Chemical and raw material purchasing knowledge a plus.
