Rapid Displays, Inc. a designer of permanent and temporary displays, located in Union City California, is seeking candidates for Purchasing Agent. This position is responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials required for executing customer orders and source services and supplies for the office operation. The ideal candidate must be able to read and interpret engineer drawings, negotiate best prices, research suppliers, expedite orders, and be able to generate reports for staff, and be able to work with all levels of the organization. Will also need to have experience or be able to gain experience in sourcing corrugated board products, flexo and litho printing, silk screening, digital printing, metal fabrication, injection molding, vacuum forming, extrusion, and fabricated plastics, wood fabrication and laminates. Experience in the point of purchase industry a plus. Candidates must have excellent communication, negotiation, computer and mathematical skills. We offer a competitive salary and benefits.
