Kelly Automotive Services Group is currently seeking a Production/Materials Scheduler for a long term project with an Automotive Tier One Supplier in the Montgomery, AL area. Immediate Need!!
Materials Scheduling
Our worldclass Tier One automotive client has an immediate need for an experienced Material Planner/Scheduler/Expediter. The successful candidate will be quick to learn, detailed and dependable, flexible, and able to function efficiently in demanding Just-in-Time production situations. The successful incumbent will manage incoming material and components, set up deliveries for maximum inventory turns, communicate with suppliers, and coordinate trial runs for new programs.
QUALIFICATIONS: Associates or relevant Bachelors degree with 3+ years of material planning and scheduling experience in a fast-paced JIT manufacturing environment, preferably automotive. (Additional experience will be considered in lieu of a college education.) High proficiency with Microsoft Office software, particularly EXCEL. Familiar with automotive EDI release systems, MRP, and Microsoft Access. Strong communication skills, an orientation for details and relentless follow-up absolutely essential. QAD MfgPro experience is a real plus!
