Multiquip Inc., based in Carson, CA, is a worldwide manufacturer/distributor of light and medium sized construction equipment. Our diverse product lines include the highest quality equipment for soil compaction, concrete placement, concrete finishing, concrete and masonry cutting, water and material pumping, portable power generation, jobsite lighting and welding.

 

We currently have an opening in our Purchasing Department for an Expeditor.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will be responsible for the accurate and timely input and maintenance of data into SAP for the Parts Purchasing Department. Position involves follow-up of purchase orders placed by the buying group and working closely with vendors. Additionally, this position will be responsible for the follow-up and paperwork associated with production materials sent to our manufacturing plant in Mexico, from both our Carson location and drop shipped through Laredo, Texas.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should have a minimum of an Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school and six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Should be computer literate in basic operations (Windows, Excell, Word), knowledge of SAP preferred.

SAP software knowledge is preferred.
