Buyer/Planner

Requirements
This individual will be responsible for the following:

- Review daily customer requirements via SAP

- Plan & prepare daily and weekly production schedules based on capacity and requirements to ensure 100% customer service.

- Place purchase orders for components and subassemblies based on material requirements to ensure daily schedule attainment.

- Under limited supervision, plan, schedule, and/or control assigned materials flow.

- Interface with multiple departments and or plants to coordinate a smooth material flow in support of production requirements in a multi plant environment.

- Monitor scheduled vs. actual production for variances; investigate causes and make recommendations for resolution.

- Analyze reports, identify problem areas and recommend solutions.

- Accurately maintain schedules and material requirements utilizing corporate MRP system.

- Conduct project analyses as required to assess materials flow processes and accuracy.

- Review and understand available capacity and perform "what if" scenarios on potential programs as required

- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years experience required.

Skills
*SAP experience a plus
*MRP experience / knowledge required
