WEB/GRAPHIC DESIGN ARTIST $35K-$45K DOE (East Valley)

As our Web/Graphic Design Artist, reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, you will work closely with the Marketing Team to develop a myriad of informational and promotional materials such as product package design, web authoring, national magazine ads etc—all which must sync up with our corporate branding and messaging. Some of the projects you’ll work on will include: National Magazine ads Product package design and labels Web site development Product catalog Sales tools (brochures, flyers, etc.) PowerPoint presentations More creative projects….



Qualified Candidates Must Have: Excellent organizational & multi-tasking skills. Excellent problem solving skills. Excellent attention to details is a MUST!!! Ability to self-manage multiple projects and work within strict time deadlines. Evidence of teamwork, creativity, and ability to work well under pressure. Provide visual design critiques and direct positive change. Knowledge of current graphic design software, as well as standards, practices and procedures within the print industry is necessary.



Minimum Software Knowledge Requirement: Expert knowledge of and proficiency in most recent versions of: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat-Pro, Quark Macromedia/Adobe Flash MX, Dreamweaver and Studio MX 7+Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, DHTML, CSS, and other web design tools. Proficiency in Mac OSX. College degree in a related field of study. Broad understanding of the Internet and related technologies. Minimum two years of graphic design experience. Highly skilled in digital Photography

 

Ultra-Qualified Candidates Will Have: Experience in multimedia development (video production, animation etc)
