About the Company Alphagraphics is a fast paced, high energy, quick printer with an emphasis on customer service. About the Opportunity AlphaGraphics is seeking a Graphic Designer with an extensive knowledge of desktop publishing programs including QuarkXPress, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign/Acrobat, and Microsoft Office/Publisher. Background in the quick print industry a plus. The ideal candidate will have excellent design/layout skills, customer service skills, as well as general desktop publishing ability. The ability to learn new techniques and equipment to produce a variety of projects ranging from the creative to more production oriented is a must. Qualifications

Background in printing industry a plus.

Ability to generate concept artwork for a variety of projects and customer types.

Is responsive and empathetic to customer needs.

Extensive knowledge of desktop publishing tools such as Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop, QuarkXpress, or InDesign.
Candidate must be equally proficient on Mac and PC.

Knows the principles of layout, including typography, photography, and placement of copy and logos.

Ability to meet deadlines set priorities in a fast paced printing environment.

Ability to generate new and original ideas.

Pays attention to detail. Approaches work in a meticulous and thorough manner.

Is highly flexible and can adjust to a variety of projects and shifting priorities.

Associates Degree or equivalent.
