Data Processor for Digital Printing & Mailing Company

The individual in this role utilizes Microsoft Excel and Mailing Software to process data lists for direct mail. Assists Machine Operators with questions related to Data Processing. Identifies potential challenges that may delay jobs. Ensures all quality standards are met.  Manipulates data in accordance with client specifications including: duplication elimination, merge/purge functions, address standardization, presorting, NCOA, and data selects. Performs other duties or special projects related to the general job scope as deemed necessary.

 

Job Requirements:

 

Qualified candidates must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and have solid interpersonal, communication, organization, problem solving and decision-making skills. Must be able to effectively work in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment. 

 

Preferred candidates will have an understanding of Postal regulations as determined by the Domestic Mail Manual, the ability to read and understand work orders, and programming abilities. Working knowledge of database programs (i.e., dBase, Access, FoxPro).  Strong working knowledge of mailing software (i.e., Desktop Mailer, Mail Manager, Accuzip, SmartAddresser, or similar)) and MS Access is highly preferred.
