ASSOCIATE OR MANAGING EDITOR

 

Canon Communications LLC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated associate editor. Successful candidates will have demonstrable expertise in journalistic writing, interviewing, story conception, copy-editing, and project administration. The company seeks out and rewards well-rounded editors with management potential.

 

Responsibilities will include writing, editing, proofreading, and production for trade magazines and associated Web sites. Experience with databases and Quark or HTML editing software is helpful, but not required. Previous experience with business reporting is a plus.

 

A bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, or related fields is required. We will give preference to candidates with one to three years of experience in publishing.
