Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions:
The candidate will provide direct support to the Office of the Chief of Staff in the areas of office administration, manpower/personnel management and military personnel in Huntsville, AL. The candidate will be working in a high-pressure environment and will be expected to work multiple actions simultaneously and resolve time sensitive operations support issues. Work requires routine direct coordination with multiple customers within the GMD JPO, at Missile Defense Agency Headquarters, and HQ Department of the Army requiring excellent customer relation/interaction skills. Work consists of maintaining a manpower/personnel database, using Oracle, of over 1000 lines of information that is linked to internal information technology equipment distribution capabilities and a separate security clearance/status operating system (PERSACS), maintaining status of military awards, ratings/evaluations, assignments and as directed, professional development training coordination. Additional duties might include in and out processing of arriving and departing personnel, preparation of materials for and administrative execution of key GMD JPO leadership forums, and preparing weekly status reports of activities assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. - A Secret security clearance is required or eligible for re-instatement. - Knowledge and experience working database management activities (e.g., Oracle). - Must be able to accurately and effectively manage a multifunctional manpower/personnel database system using Oracle. - Experience in working in a customer service environment. - Must have excellent, established computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, and Word. **** Preferred Qualifications: - An advanced degree and professional military education is desired. - A Top Secret clearance is desired. - Experience in, and knowledge of the GMD program. - Proficiency in Microsoft Access.
