Senior Technical Program Manager-Located in Phoenix--Tempe, Arizona

 

Roles and Responsibilities

 

Program Manager for SASD Consumer Projects.

 

Provides the senior management team with regular project performance status, variances to plan, and identification of corrective action (if required).

 

Establishes a system of metrics and phase gates focused on initiative implementation, customer/ stakeholder satisfaction and risk mitigation.

 

Emphasizes metrics which are leading indicators of the future and suggestive of corrective action.

 

Sees that entry and exit criteria for accomplishment of corporate initiatives, project objectives, and physical progress are established and maintained.

 

Ensures flexibility of monitoring and metrics commensurate with project phases and risk level.

 

Knowledge and Skills Required

 



4-10 years PM experience on high tech projects.

 

Teach and Develop PM concepts.

 

Bachelors/Masters degree or equivalent.

 

Project Management Certified preferred.

 

Continuous learning process for advanced PM skills.

 

Formal process of developing leadership, influence, and communication skills.

 

Green belt training.
