Planning Analyst for local Aerospace Company


Will assit program Managers with program budget and schedule creation and maintenance including varying degrees of baselining, work breakdown development, resource loading, performance reporting, and troubleshooting.

Supports assigned area of the Customer and Product Support organization under the direction of the Program Management Office Leader. Interfaces with Program Managers as well as various project stakeholders to assess milestone, and scope fidelity and personnel resourcing. Will assist in development of standard processes for risk and change management, program planning and budget development. Facilitates schedule reporting and analysis using earned value measurement techniques; conducts analysis of schedule integrity; ensures proper schedule configuration management. Develops and manages on-going reporting to program management team on such items as: Program milestones and their progression Project deliverables and earned value metrics Resource planning Financial performance against plan Trend analysis for pro-active monitoring of programs Supports evaluating program alignment to the overall business strategy Drives efforts to improve the overall program tracking process Supports department/program budgeting process as well as tracking project performance. Performs audits and reviews of schedules to ensure traceability, linkage and integration. Participates in the implementation of standard program management tools, common metrics and process standardization. Mentors other analysts, and assigned program managers to enhance overall process integrity.

Qualifications 3 - 5 years of applicable experience. EOE
