We have an immediate opening for a Project Manager for the Development department. This position will be based at our Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama.

Responsibilities:

Manage Access database containing project status- once completed will serve as the Development Department deal pipeline report and will be distributed to senior and executive management for weekly and bi-weekly status update meetings.
Sort, update, and if at all possible, enhance report
Track and provide frequent updates to other Development Department employees on what stage a project is in, what requests have gone out, what requests have been returned and to whom data has been disseminated to within our HS department
Serve as the due diligence document liaison between development and other departments
Development will request information from potential sellers
Receive, store and catalog this information
Disseminate the data to appropriate department heads
Contacting potential sellers, law firms, accounting firms, etc., as well as interacting with all HealthSouth functional areas.

Requirements:

1-2 years experience in public accounting or law firm, with particular emphasis on financial transactions. Paralegal background preferred.
Experienced in Database management and project management.
Must be proficient in Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and graphics software.
