Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions:
The candidate selected will provide direct support to the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Joint Program Office (JPO). This position will support coordinating and providing recommended inputs to acquisition strategies, contract requirements packages, and change requests, both internal and external to the JPO. This position will perform program integration, coordinating and developing program level briefings (i.e., System Element Reviews, Financial Execution Reviews) and budget execution/financial analysis. The individual will be the liaison between business and technical management within the office, and be responsible for numerous ongoing activities within the program office; such as, staffing/personnel actions, schedule, contracts, financial management, various types of financial estimates and will provide funding recommendations to the customer. This person will assist the customer in developing correspondence, presentations, reports and analyses. This position will work within a multi-contractor and multi-customer team with minimal guidance. The candidate will serve as the focal point for office actions/taskers, and will utilize web-based action tracking systems (CMATS & E-Tasker) to assign and track staff actions.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Active Secret security clearance (or eligible for immediate reinstatement). At least eleven years relevant program or budget experience in the DoD-arena (either as government/military/contractor). A background in acquisition, finance or similar program office activity and experience with contracts, and program management. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree (preferably in business-related discipline). Demonstrated organizational skills and strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience managing numerous varied ongoing activities within the program office, such as staffing/personnel actions, schedule, contracts, and financial management. Ability to supervise and coordinate customer's financial and programmatic taskings and projects. A working knowledge of web-based action tracking systems (e.g., CMATS & E-Tasker). Demonstrated experience developing products using PC and Microsoft Office applications to include PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
