PMO/Black Belt
CITY: Burbank STATE: California COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
* Enhance, build and deploy a PMO office supporting WMC to more effectively set organization-wide priorities and allocate resources for projects requiring cross-departmental participation. Drive accountability of on-time, on budget & qualitative delivery of assigned project initiatives.
* Create and deploy PMO charter/objectives including phases, sub processes, deliverables, and tollgates.
* Gather and report PMO project metrics. Automate tracking/reporting of these projects. Communicate with business leaders/key stakeholders on project progress, status, successes, challenges/risks mitigation, and issues logs. Develop recurring project scorecards
* Lead/participate in quality improvement projects and initiatives aligned to business priorities, as identified by senior management or Six Sigma Team
* Provide effective project management, communication and support to business on key initiatives
* Give input to and assimilate strategic plans into execution strategy
* Support projects though the application of Analytical, Financial, Six Sigma and CAP tools
* Successfully complete Black Belt-DMAIC training and related test within first 6 months of role
* Facilitate CAP (Change Acceleration Process) for introducing and changing operational policies and procedures supporting PMO
* Perform other duties and or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years project management and/or process improvement experience
* Superior oral and written communication, experience in communication with business leaders, ability to influence and gain commitment at all organizational levels including working with multiple business partners with different operational objectives
* Ability to implement projects across functional boundaries
* Track record of delivering successful results (budget and time)
* Strong interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills
* Strong business acumen and leadership
Desired:
* Minimum 2 years financial services experience
*Ability to manage expectations of the business, clients, team members, management and external groups
* Demonstrated interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills
* College degree
* Minimum 3 years experience in project management application
* Minimum 3 years mortgage lending business experience
* Prior experience with PMO (Project Management Office) deployment/management
* PMI Certification
* Quality improvement experience
* New product integration experience
*Ability to develop mathematical, analytical and financial models
