IT FINANCIAL ANALYST PROJECT MANAGER Roll International

Roll International~a private holding company in West LA has a need for an IT Analyst:

 

Responsible for the proper budgeting, reporting, analysis, accounting, and control of costs incurred by the Information Technology group and coordinating and tracking other IT costs. Will act as the finance liaison for a group of IT project managers, providing assistance with billings, reconciliations, spread sheets, and report writing. This position is also responsible for partnering with IT senior management to provide good overall business decisions with regard to IT. This role is best suited to someone who thrives in a hands-on role and is a team-player.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

 Supporting strategic direction within the Information Technology group in all areas of accounting, budgeting, reporting, analysis, and business support. Enabling proactive business management decisions through insightful interpretation of historical results and predictive information of future results. Tracking and reporting on overall Partners spend for both internal and external IT spending. Communicating, and operating IT related charge-out models. Development of planning and forecasting processes including defining key business assumptions. Ownership of the budgeting process for the INFORMATION Technology group in addition to helping to define and support corporate wide budgeting and planning from an IT perspective. Managing adherence to company wide accounting policies and controls and ensuring their consistent application. Supporting comprehensive cost control and operating expense management. Support needs of corporate reporting groups with respect to forecast, budget, and analysis of Information Systems financials. Development of content and approach to financial training of all IS business units.

 

 

IT Governance / Quality Control

 Project Creation On Boarding and Off Boarding of Resources User Account Creation Project Audits to insure that all artifacts are delivered and all Reviews are held per the SOW and Project Plan Maintenance of Project Document Repository

 

 

Project Management

 Support Program Management Office as needed

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 A BA degree in Finance is required or a minimum of 5-6 years of comparable work experience in accounting and finance. A minimum of 3 years experience directly managing a team of at least 3 people. Strong background in analytical cost management processes and project accounting understanding. Ability to create financial reports using various report writing tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to partner with all levels of senior management and operate as an integral part of the IT senior management team. Demonstrated strong leadership, problem solving and cross group collaboration skills required. Ability to lead the recruiting process for new staff on the team; motivates and develops Finance personnel. Exposure to flexible budgeting and activity based costing methods required. In addition, must understand shared costing methodology. Experience in financial aspects of planning and delivering IT infrastructure strongly preferred.
