Our client, a Fortune 100 company, is currently seeking to hire an Health Safety & Environmental Manager for their Bakersfield, CA operations. Successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years in the drilling industry with a general knowledge if drilling equipment and operations. This firm is great to work for and offers a competitive salary/benefits!

Health Safety & Environmental Manager requirements: Must be able to travel to work sites within the district and/or other areas. Must be able to communicate with upper management as well as rig/field personnel. Must possess good writing skills and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Must be able to communicate well with customer contacts. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently. Four-year college degree preferred. Industry and/or regulatory courses and training preferred. Must be knowledgeable about California OSHA and must have drilling industry experience. Must be familiar with California OSHA and federal and state regulations especially pertaining to safety and environmental.
