Strong strategic thinking skills are a must as are strong technical skills, especially in client side UI. The job also requires good expertise in B2C and C2C online paid services.

Guides the vision of a Symantec product offering, defines product strategy and product objectives; presents plans to senior management; assures strong launch and future positioning for the product; maintains 2 year forecasts and business plans; defines feedback loops for product input and drives/conducts customer research; coordinates with regional marketing on product launches, including the direct ownership of product naming, key messages, product positioning, timing, marketing strategy (with regional marketing), base pricing and joint marketing opportunities. The Senior Product manager is responsible for collecting product requirements, working with developers to build product roadmaps and release schedules, and communicating with customers and Symantec employees on product the roadmap. Strong communication and leadership abilities are required.
