Sr IT Product Manager
THE OPPORTUNITY
j2 Global Communications, Inc. has a unique opportunity for a Sr. IT Product Manager to manage a team that will be newly responsible for taking j2 Global’s current payment systems to the next level.

JOB DUTIES:
*Manage a team to develop international currency support and new payment methods through; direct bank transfers,Debit cards, International versions of credit cards, Paypal, etc.
*Work with Finance on chargeback and fraud issues
*Drive, gather, and document billing and cross-functional requirements across a variety of domestic and international projects, including customer integrations, international payments, new market launches, and standard product development initiatives.
* Product management of our IT systems representing the business side of the company when developing and supporting; eMail systems on both the technical and business side Billing systems projects such as; VAT development and automating billing system
and any other back end systems that supports j2’s eCommerce world
*Writes detailed description of user and business needs in support of various product manager initiatives.
*Develops detailed functional design specifications ensuring both the business and customer requirements are met.
*Participate in design sessions to ensure that cross functional teams understand the anticipated result of each project.
*Work with the Quality Assurance team to ensure the system meets the submitted requirements.
*Manage a business operations team to manage Offer Codes, handle trouble tickets related to billing, offer codes, rating, etc., handle support tickets that have no other home, DID management such as Reclaim/re-assign process and to lead the team to act as a bridge between the business and the technical operations.
*Anticipate and recognize change throughout the organization, and understand any implications.
*Will need to exhibit strong project management skills, prepare project plans, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, action items, document product decisions, schedule necessary project team meetings and report the status of projects, accomplishments, and issues on a weekly basis.
*Communicate professionally and effectively to management and other department members.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:
*Ability to work in a cross-functional team comprising of Systems engineering, Billing, Web design, Marketing, and Product Management.
*Ability to research, define, and document complex processes. Willingness to learn and get things done. Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
*Comfortable communicating with and taking input from a variety of people, including senior management.
*Must be able to work independently and as a member of a larger team, on multiple concurrent projects.
*Must also have proven experience managing team members.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Requirements for the position include knowledge and experience in resolving and implementing new requirements the proven ability to write very detail requirements documentation, and excellent project management skills. Also, experience and ability to work independently and in various cross functional teams is also required. Experience in Operational support systems and Customer Service processes (gained ideally at a e-comm/Internet/Telco) service provider). OSS analysis include: Order fulfillment & provisioning, Engineering & web development, rating & billing, CS support systems & processes, payments, collection & financial reporting. In particular, the person takes the TRS and transforms it into a global cross-functional design document. He/she needs to understand the above OSS processes, analyze, ask the right questions, brainstorm with the cross-functional team, and document requirements & proposed solutions clearly. The output will be a document which addresses detailed design concepts of all processes, systems, workflows, resource management, and a test module culminating in a product/project ready for launch.
