Product Manager/Market Research Analyst, Consumer products

This seasoned Product Manager/Market Research Analyst will own and oversee the entire life cycle of consumable consumer products, programs and initiatives. We are a venture start up in the consumer products industry, looking for a seasoned professional with the ability to quickly analyze industry dynamics, evaluate the market potential of specific companies and products and deliver sound, data based conclusions to the rest of the management team.  You will work in a focused team environment that includes significant senior management experience.

 

Essential responsibilities:

 

·  Conduct analysis of specific market segments within the consumable consumer products industry to identify emerging markets, products and companies that represent attractive investment opportunities.

·  Identify and evaluate individual companies to determine the potential for performance improvement and availability for acquisition.

·  Develop and assist in executing new concepts including identifying consumer and/or product strategies.

·  Act as subject matter expert in all areas of Product Marketing.

 

Knowledge and Skills:

 

·  BS/BA degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

·  5 – 10 years of hands on experience researching, studying and drawing conclusions about industry trends, company potential and product performance.

·  3 – 5 years Product Management experience in consumer branded products with a world class organization.

·  Strong oral and written communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
