Product Manager II, SiP

Amkor is currently looking for a Product Manager II, System in Package for our Chandler, AZ office. The primary function of this position is System in Package (SiP) Management and new program development focused on specific customer opportunities in our Asia factories.

 

Major responsibilities of this position include:

 Serve as primary new product program manager coordinating the communication between Customer, Sales, Factory, Suppliers, and Design on NPI; designs, protos, and quals.Develop strategy to qualify materials, processes, and equipment that provide a competitive advantage through enhanced product performance, improved yield, and reduced product cost.Establish customer pricing based on assembly and material cost models and an understanding of corporate financial targets and market dynamics.Support application engineering issues on customer products resolving manufacturing, material, reliability and quality issue, functioning as primary technical interface with customer.

 

Required qualifications:

 

This position requires a BS preferably in electrical, mechanical or materials and at least 5 years of experience in IC packaging (sub-con experience preferred) and at least 3 years of experience in program management with some experience in Asian IC packaging factories. The qualified candidate will have knowledge of surface mount technology, multi-chip module assembly and substrate technologies. Requires the ability to multi-task and have good problem solving, organization, presentation and communication skills.

 

This position requires 5% domestic and 10% international travel.
