About Position:

The Product Manager will be responsible for the introduction of existing and new products for this leading worldwide company.  This person will be responsible for promoting product lines to architects, designers, specifiers and major corporations, within the assigned territory obtaining project specifications for products. 

 

This person must have minimally 2 years of experience specifying products to Architect & Designer firms. 

They must have solid knowledge and contacts within the region’s Architect & Designer communities.

 

Experience in Outside Sales highly desirable.

 

They must have the ability to make effective product presentations before small and large groups consisting of minimally 5 to 25 people.

 

This person must be organized, have comprehensive computer skills, good written and verbal communications skills and have the ability to generate and maintain solid client relationships.  They must be presentable, personable, forthcoming, outgoing, sales minded and have the ability to build solid long lasting relationships.  This person must be highly self-motivated, be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently out of a home office.

 

They must have the ability to travel, have a clean DMV license and have the ability to overnight travel within the territory of up to 6 nights per month depending on the territory. 

 

 

TERRITORY:  LA/Orange Counties to San Diego. CANDIDATES MUST LIVE: LA/Orange County 

 

 

EXPERIENCE:

Recommended:  Bachelors Degree  

Required:  Bachelor's degree

Required:  Relationships within the A&D community within this territory

Required:  The ability to lift up to approximately 30 pounds

Required:  Maintain customer documentation through a company provided contact management database.

Required:  In addition this candidate must be independently motivated, be direction oriented, multi-task, have technical competence, planning and organizing, be detail oriented have good written and oral communication skills.

Salary and Benefit Package:

Base Salary $55,000 to $65,000 annually based on experience.

Plus quarterly bonuses

Car Allowance of $650.00 per month
