Market/Product Manager (OEM) - New Position (OEM to Automotive, Electromechanical or Appliance Industries)

 

We are expanding our reach into new markets! Accuride International, the leader in precision linear ball bearing slides and movement solutions is looking for an aggressive and innovative OEM marketing professional. This is a new position, where you would be charged with researching the competition, establishing, directing and coordinating project and product development marketing activities necessary to generate new business for identified markets.  There will be significant customer interfacing and communications/coordination with their functional groups and our internal departments (i.e., engineering, sales, pricing, marketing, etc.).

 

We require a strategic thinker who can formulate strategies, goals and objectives for assigned products/markets.  You will develop annual marketing plans for assigned areas and collaborate with internal groups to bring plans to fruition.  This position may require you to direct 1 to 2 interns or support personnel.

 

Ideally you should be degreed in engineering, business or marketing and have no less than 8-10 years experience developing and marketing manufactured automotive, appliance, mechanical or electro-mechanical products. An BSME degree is a plus. You must be proficient in PC applications and Word/Excel/PowerPoint and be able to travel approximately up to 25% of the time. You must demonstrate superb English language oral and written communication skills, pay close attention to detail, and possess exceptional statistical and organizational skills.
