Associate Marketing Program Manager

The Associate Marketing Program Manager assists with the development and implementation of customer-focused marketing and promotional programs, market research and analysis for the Contractor SBU. This position will help the marketing organization translate customer and market data into strategic customer insights and actionable marketing initiatives to meet corporate objectives.  Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following: 

· Manage customer information, ensuring the customer database is accurate, complete and capable of satisfying user needs.

· Manage the customer information reporting process and drive related action plans to grow sales.

· Assist in the development and implementation of customer-based marketing programs.

· Perform market research relating to customer and product needs.

· Manage the annual market analysis process and produce the resulting industry market share study.

· Perform competitive, product positioning and pricing analysis.

· Provide analytic support for the demand planning process.

· Coordinate and conduct training classes for users of the marketing tools developed.

· Support division marketing projects to achieve strategic business unit objectives.

· Travel to key customer and industry events (less than 15% required).

 

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or marketing.

· Minimum 4 years of relevant marketing and/or product management work experience with increasing responsibility.

· Proven ability with database systems.

· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Team player with strong leadership, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

· Experience managing multiple projects with adherence to deadlines and budgets.

· Demonstrated ability to recognize opportunities for improvement and create positive change.

· Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and SQL.

 

Desired Qualifications:

· MBA degree.

· Experience with wholesale distribution or business-to-business marketing.

· Understanding of the landscape irrigation market.

· Sales and/or field customer support experience.

· International business experience.

· Fluency in Spanish or other languages, in addition to English.
