Housekeeper - Residential & Commercial/Gal or Guy Friday

This position entails working for two very busy business owners who would like a positive, skilled, versatile, independent, dedicated, detailed and highly motivated person to take on the large responsibility of day to day domestic management (cleaning and organizing) of their homes and family business. Candidate must be energetic and have a passion for cleaning. This position is mostly cleaning; not administrative.

We’re looking for a person that is interested in a long-term position; a career, not just a job. You will be an important member of our team. You will maintain our large retail store, our homes, and run various errands. You will be indispensable, and you will be compensated accordingly.

Duties will include, but are not limited to: cleaning our retail furniture store, Bethany Resort Furnishings, keep cleaning supplies ready and stocked, maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment, driving from place to place and developing a structured routine between properties from Bethany Beach, Delaware to Salisbury, Maryland. There is a lot of physical work involved in this position.

Qualifications: Experience in all aspects of housekeeping and laundry. Has worked at homes that have attained the highest quality standards. Has perfect attendance and can be trusted to handle confidential and sensitive information. Can define their own role, take on responsibilities and manage priorities with minimal guidance. Self-starter; holds self accountable for results and performance. Exceptional work ethic. Uses time productively and efficiently. Can lift up to 30 pounds. We prefer someone who has worked as housekeeper or caretaker.

Requirements: Licensed driver, three references, fluent in English, willing to sign a confidentiality agreement.

Starting salary $600/week. Paid vacation, medical and dental benefits, 401K, and gas allowance.
