Key responsibilities:Compliance with Board of Nurse Examiners (BNE) and Nursing Practice Act (NPA) rules and regulations to achieve the overall goal of providing the client with safe, effective treatment Making a comprehensive assessment of the client’s needs in terms of non-ablative procedures/treatments delegated by a currently Texas licensed Physician, developing a plan of care for the client, implementing this plan and evaluating the outcomes Administering laser therapy for non-ablative Sona Medspa procedures/treatments. Procedures/treatments include, but are not limited to: laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation procedures, correction of sun damaged skin, skin Tightening, collagen remodeling, spider vein removal, acne treatment, etc. Assigning nursing care aspects and activities to other RNs/LVNs/LPNs Aestheticians, under his/her direct supervision and providing the necessary training, assistance and support within a structured environment where policies, procedures and protocols exist for the provision of nursing care applicable to procedures/ treatments provided by Sona Medspa Ensuring a consistent delivery of world-class treatment experiences for clients Maintaining accurate record keeping Maintaining open communication with Medical Director, Associates, and Center Manager Written reports for Center Management as and when required Adherence to the utmost in professional conduct in accordance with standards set by BNE, NPA and Sona Medspa Corporate Headquarters Promotion of additional services and soliciting referrals

 

Qualifications: Completed nursing program or Aesthetician’s licenseAppropriate education (clinical and academic) Experience related to the use of laser technologies for medical purposes are a must If an RN, experience with administering Botox and Dermal Fillers a plus Proven track record of ability to exercise independent medical judgment Exceptional decision-making skills Prior supervisory experience essential 20/20 Vision or corrected to 20/20 Exceptional interpersonal skills and a desire to serve people Team Player Must be willing and available to work a minimum of two (2) weekday evenings per week and some rotating Saturday (days).
