Description


The Corporate Traffic Department, located at the National Services Center in Phoenix, AZ, has four openings for Traffic Clerks. These individuals will be responsible for scheduling appointments for distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Schedule and communicate deliveries to distribution centers.
Provide superior customer service to both internal and external organizations.
Use independent judgement to solve daily transportation problems.
Keep schedule data base current with updated information.
Calculate, analyze and report product price savings of transportation movements for period ending results.
Generate and review a variety of management reports concerning service level, savings and freight expenses.
Handle other projects as assigned.


 Required Skills


Qualifications: The following are preferred or desired unless specifically stated:
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Demonstrated commitment to providing superior customer service.
Two or more year’s traffic related experience.
PC skills with knowledge of Windows & Microsoft Office software applications.
Data entry experience - 30 WPM.
Speed and accuracy in 10 key.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent telephone customer service skills.
Able to work under pressure handles multiple calls, and work in a fast paced environment.
Flexibility regarding work hours required. Some overtime required.
