Sr. Web Designer

Qualifications

As a Web Designer with a focus on user interface design, you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams taking projects through their full life cycle (from concept to live online). Daily duties may include: facilitating discovery sessions, brainstorming, scenario generation, user research and testing, prototyping, mapping user flows, requirements gathering, creating wireframes, receiving and incorporating feedback on designs, defining functional specifications and business rules, performing a competitive analysis, presenting to stakeholders, writing and testing presentation layer code, relentlessly advocating for the user, keeping an eye on industry trends, learning from and inspiring colleagues.

Qualifications:
Comfortable designing interactive user experiences in an e-commerce or consumer oriented business setting
Comprehension of user-centered design philosophy and processes
Should be proficient in Dreamweaver and PhotoShop. Flash is a plus
Ability to write presentation layer code including: HTML, CSS and JavaScript. AJAX and XHTML are pluses
Superb written and verbal communication skills
Online portfolio or electronic samples a must
