Field Service Manager--Arkansas/Mississippi
CITY: Open STATE: Arkansas COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
* The Field Service Manager (FSM) leads the delivery of the GE Water field service activities for all customers within the territory. Regularly interfaces with both internal customers (Build/Own/Operate, Mobile Water and Equipment) and external customers within the service delivery process.
* Lead team of Field Service Representatives (FSR's) within a territory to execute all GE Water field service work.
*Project service demand to ensure adequate resource supply within territory.
* Manage training needs to ensure effective skill set balance, geographic support, and employee development.
*Responsible for all Field Service operational metrics within geography, including Environmental, Health and Safety, quality of service, utilization, and cost to serve.
*Coordinates advanced troubleshooting, including FSR to Engineer discussions when necessary.
* Verifies timely completion of service request & reports.
*Reviews and Approves FSR Travel Request, Field Service Reports and Timesheets.
*Interfaces with End Customer and Sales Team as required.
*Request, Reviews and Compiles data from VOOC surveys.
*Interfaces with Equipment Project Management, Mobile, BOO, Capital and Chemical Ops Teams to meet customer requirements and expectations.
*Works with other managers on employee development & technical resource, assignments, training and EHS training.
Qualifications/Requirements:
*BS degree (Chemistry, CE, EE, ME, IE or Environmental Engineering) or work experience (5 years) in water treatment field.
*Strong service related background.
*Able to prioritize, organize work, and meet deadlines.
*3 years water treatment experience.
*2 years supervisory/leadership experience.
*Solid verbal and written communication skills.
*Computer skills with MS Office, Oracle and ability to learn other software applications. *Ability to work in and lead cross-functional teams.
*Demonstrated Program/Project management skills.
Desired:
*Strong customer service background.
*3 years of Experience and Knowledge of water treatment systems and equipment. UF, RO, EDR, EDI, pumps, motors, FDA, filtration, chemical feed systems, etc.
*Experience with GE water treatment equipment.
*Able to multitask, provide direction and address service request issues.
*Individual must promote Teamwork environment and be a positive force on the team. *Experience managing a dispersed workforce.
