Description


The Human Resources Department for Supply Operations has an opening for an Employee Relations Manager in our Phoenix Ice Cream facility.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Management of employee human resources related issues. Maintains pro-employee work environment.
Employee Relations - Continually strives for high level of employee morale, communication, and mutual respect. Coaches team members to resolve work-related problems. Maintains effective employee relations program. Works as part of Management Team to maintain good work environment. In facility evenings and weekends to provide accessibility and availability to all employees.
Employment and Staffing - Ensures facility has quality employees who are properly trained. Recruits qualified applicants using existing sources and continues efforts to generate new recruiting sources. Participates at job fairs, career services and community events. Ensures staff reflects diversity of the applicant pool.
Training - Ensures all new employees are oriented and are familiar with company policies and procedures. Continues contact with employees to ensure their needs are met. Coordinates efforts to ensure that new employees are trained in a timely and complete manner.
Compensation and Benefits Administration - Ensures adherence to compensation, benefits and payroll procedures.
Some travel maybe required but less than 10%.


 Required Skills


Qualifications: The following are preferred or desired unless specifically stated:
B.A. or B.S. degree in human resources or business preferred.
Human resources experience including employment, training, employee relations, and diversity preferred.
Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays, etc.).
Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Sense of urgency and business orientation.
Able to think strategically and conceptually while managing details.
Strong problem solving skills.
Able to work independently but a strong team player.
Bilingual Spanish/English skills a plus
