DOOR AND WINDOW EXPERT

Dynamic, growing custom wood window and door company based in Tucson, Arizona, is seeking an experienced MILLWORK ESTIMATOR to head our estimating department.  Job responsibilities will include:Analyze and design solutions of customers' custom quote requests; calculate custom door and window quotes utilizing material and labor costs; and provide industry technical support to the customer service department and customer base.

Candidate should have a minimum of 3-years millwork experience (custom wood windows & doors), be able to do takeoffs from blueprints, and have strong math and computer skills.  AutoCAD experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Direct management responsibilities over the estimating department, to include figuring of custom quotes, training, improving efficiency, and ensuring department goals are met.

Implement and conduct an ongoing structured weekly product training program for the entire customer service department to include development of curriculum, handouts, samples, and testing.

Fill roll of industry and product knowledge "expert" providing customer service with a daily resource for this information.

Work with the Engineering Department to maintain accuracy of Technical Resource Guide to be used by customer service reps.

Assist the Customer Service Manager in fielding customer issues that escalate above the expertise of the customer service reps.
