Clinical Nutrition Manager

Ensures the provision, evaluation, and implementation of medical nutrition therapy and clinical nutritional services in compliance with all regulatory agency standards. Serves as a resource for nutrition staff in order to ensure that clinical competencies are maintained. Ensures that standards of care meet or exceed customer and budget requirements. Assumes responsibility and leadership for scheduling, staffing, monitoring, and evaluating work activities for all clinical and patient care functions. Works cooperatively with NS Director on projects involving food service. Serves on interdisciplinary committees responsible for continuous quality improvement and any nutrition-related patient care functions. Develops, monitors, and records performance improvement activities to ensure the provision of high quality, cost effective patient care. Addresses patient and staff concerns, maintains good interdisciplinary and community relationships, and assures a quality product or service is delivered in a safe, caring, accurate and professional manner. Works in full collaboration and cooperation with all areas to coordinate services that will support and champion the mission and vision of KRMC.


QUALIFICATIONS: Active CDR registration required. Current knowledge of regulatory agency requirements. Competent computer skills. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. EDUCATION: B.S. in Food, Nutrition Science, Dietetics or related field from an accredited college or university and/or the equivalent comparable experience is required. Masters Degree preferred. EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years of related clinical, supervisory and management
