Associate Director, Prospect Management

Childrens Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is a special place where children have been cared for and cured for more than 100 years. Prospect Management participates as a member of the Development Research team managing activities related to prospect tracking and management including major donor and prospect tracking, assurance of tracking data integrity and quality of reporting data, prospect reporting oversight, training Foundation staff in use of Millennium software, upgrading policy and procedures, supervision of two supporting staff.

Qualifications: Due to its special nature, this position requires an experienced professional with 5 years or more in managing a vast amount of detail accurately, as well as expertise in customer relations. Fundraising or prospect research experience preferred. Bachelor's Degree in related field (ie information systems, computer-related, business ore mathematics) preferred or equivalent experience required.

Skills: Computer experience required, including database knowledge, basic report writing skills, knowledge of MS Word, Access, Excel, and Crystal Reports or other Report-Writer. Must be professional, personable and able to communicate with a diverse audience and strive for excellence. Position requires a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple assignments with minimum supervision while meeting deadlines. Outstanding analytical and information systems skills required. Must be detail-oriented and accurate with very good communication skills.
