Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions:
Integrated Technology Solutions is actively searching for an Unexploded Ordnance Technician to help support the Naval Air Station, North Island, Southern California Offshore (SCORE) contract in San Diego, CA. Candidate will perform reconnaissance and classification of unexploded ordnance (UXO) in range impact areas, live fire areas, and areas adjacent to target areas. Identify and mark UXO for removal. Escort support personnel to/from remote locations within target areas. Communicate and direct aircraft in target placement. Handle, load, and process in-water weapons and targets. The work site for this position will be strictly SCI.

Basic Qualifications:
Three years experience in the field of ordnance handling and disposal. Graduation from an accredited trade school, applicable military service program or proven performance gained through experience in the field. Experience in handling and loading exercise weapons and targets. Qualified in the operation of heavy equipment, forklifts, and cranes. Candidate will be proficient in written and verbal English language skills. Candidate must be able to stand, see, reach, balance 50 to 75 percent of the time and be able to lift up to 50 lbs 25 to 50 percent of the time. Must be physically fit and capable of spending extensive hours in support of range operations. Hold or be able to meet requirements for a California A/B commercial drivers license. Perform maintenance on vehicle electrical systems. Knowledge of military operations is highly desirable. Must be a U.S. citizen and able to acquire a secret government security clearance.
