SQE - U/S Supplier Quality Engineer

CITY: Wauwatosa STATE: Wisconsin COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
This role will serve as the primary point person for driving both product quality and regulatory compliance with the L9 product and it's suppliers. The SQE will be responsible for conducting Supplier Audits, Maintenance of Supplier Documentation, Cost of Quality, Corrective and Preventative Action programs for current production issues, and Monthly Quality Data Presentations for both inside and supplier quality.
This position will be the SQE lead for all L9 suppliers, driving exceptional product quality for the patient, Customer value beyond expectations, and optimized Cost of Quality for the Ultrasound L9 product. This is a key technical and leadership position, affecting part quality for both installed base and NPI (New Product Introduction) parts.
* This position will own and drive supplied part quality for assigned suppliers:
-Improve quality performance via Quality Plan implementation.
-Drive world-class supplier selection through robust qualification processes.
-Utilize the Global quality toolset and manufacturing experience to accelerate improvements in Supplier Quality. Includes the use of scorecards and established metrics.
* Build positive relationships and work closely with:
-Supply Chain or other sourcing leaders to manage and implement supplier/engineering changes, New Product Introductions, and transfers.
- Suppliers, Engineering, Service, Manufacturing and Sourcing to drive Quality improvements which minimize the Costs of Quality.
* Ensure Regulatory Compliance by completing required training and ensure all suppliers maintain proper documentation and subsequently ongoing compliance to FDA statutes and requirements.
* Ensure that the supplier meet all qualification requirements before adding the supplier to the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
* Assist with internal Global Audit Council audits in the area of Supplier Quality.
* Participate in monthly supplier quality reviews and provide key quality data.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or 3+ years of Quality Auditing experience with Associate Degree in related field
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and with all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with Supplier executives and drive change within the GEHC team.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, inspection and test methods.
- 5+ years experience in manufacturing or engineering
