 Experience/SkillsWelding EngineerSix Sigma Black BeltReview customer specifications relative to welding to determine requirements and job cost.Trouble-shoot welding/welder problemsReview and evaluate welding process for effectiveness and efficiencyMust be capable of implementing process controls that validate and insure that procedures are followedSkilled at completing audits of manufacturing floor for compliance to standards and best practicesInvestigate quality errors and issue corrective actionAssure that SOP’s are created, trained, enforced and auditedAnalyze current processes to identify and prioritize opportunities that would result in improved service to customers and/or improve productivityDevelop, communicate and monitor quality tracking systemsIdentify, specify, document and implement manufacturing best practices methods, procedures, tooling and equipment required to support the welded assembly area.
