Operations Technician

We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an Operations Technician, located in Birmingham, Alabama.

Position Description:
-Promote Safe work practices as directed by Corporate programs.
-Support Remote Operations Team with day to day operation.
-Support BULK distribution of Medical and Industrial shipments.
-Support daily analytical calibration of product measurement equipment.
-Support On site plants PM activity.
-Promote a Team concept and a positive attitude.
-Support IMSS Compliance.
-Support efforts to meet Emergency & Environmental requirements per site plan.
-Support internal and external audit programs
-Support Audit Manager CAR management
-Support PMP development for self development and evaluation.
-Support Cluster manager with Turnaround maintenance activity.
-Support SAP and Customer billing data support.
-Support Customer communication for outage events.
-Be pro-active in the diagnosis of problems in all areas of the operation.
-Actively seeks out opportunities to streamline work processes for WISDOM initiative.
-Support Maximo system to meet KPI goals for Cluster
-Support Tracess Training, Chapter development.

Position Requirements:
-High School graduate, college helpful.
-Mechanical, or electrical schooling or certification.
-ASU operating experience is a plus.
-Computer skills.
