Maintenance planner

 Communicate with maintenance and operationsDevelop plan for tasks required to be performed on a down day, Mill change over and unscheduled shut downsDevelops plan, schedules and coordinate scheduled shut down  Maintain record of planned work to % completeExpect and hold accountable team members to complete work assignmentsFollow up on suggestions, work request or incomplete work ordersDevelop parts list to assemble in kits for the various jobs Order parts, tools, equipment, etc required for the various tasksMaintains spare parts inventory and expect organization of partsTracks work in progress and documents % of completionReview, update and develops PM’s as neededDevelops jobs proceduresPlan jobs based on priority and availability of equipmentTrack critical delays on specific equipment and develops plan to get to the root of the issue causing the unscheduled down time A planner must have the following qualifications

 Well organized and capable of organizing team membersHighly self motivated with goal and objective orientedComputer skills, particularly needs to have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Power PointExcellent interpersonal/communication skills with peers and subordinatesTechnical skills in electrical or mechanical field

 

Pluses to have:

 A four year college degree in engineering Maintenance background in a Industrial environmentKnowledgeable with Software such as Microsoft Project or equivalentUnderstanding or knowledge of Predictive Maintenance PracticesExperience in Mainsaver or equivalent Preventative Maintenance programs, Work Order, Inventory System, etc.
