Maintenance Facility Manager

Description:

Take charge individual that will land on his/her feet quickly and add immediate value to Ace Industries, LLC.  Key contributor to the Lineville Plant Management Team.

 

Organization Responsibilities:Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the building, infrastructure, utility systems, production and support equipment of the Lineville Plant under controlled, operable, and safe working conditions.Development and implementation of an equipment reliability program that incorporates appropriate predictive and preventive methods as well as root cause analysis to avoid and/or correct equipment issues and maximize uptime. Develop and maintain capital plans as well as equipment lifecycle and replacement plans.  Includes critical equipment risk analysis.Develop, implement and manage the maintenance work backlog, maintenance planning and scheduling processes, and maintenance equipment histories, and critical spares inventory.Develop and implement equipment and maintenance performance metrics.Coordinate resolution of equipment issues and corrective action between maintenance techs, maintenance contractors, and production operators & supervisors.Coordinate & communicate learning’s following equipment issue resolution. Identify, coordinate & communicate maintenance best practices.

 

Turnaround Responsibilities:The Maintenance/Facility manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance and reliability processes at the Lineville facility.  Primary focus will be on the maximizing uptime on the new PIM work cells within a 24/7 operating environment.The Maintenance/Facility Manager will develop and implement performance standards for craftsmen in the maintenance department, skill based training programs, and skill based progression programs.

 

Qualifications/ Requirements:BS in engineering  from an accredited universityMinimum 10-15 years experience in a manufacturing environmentTravel Requirements: <10% away from home / overnight travelIndividual must be comfortable working in a team based environmentExcellent project management skills – demonstrated in past experiences.Ace is not prepared to pay for a move.  Individual selected must be willing to commute – even if it’s a significant travel distance.Computer literate with significant expertise utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, manufacturing systems, and Microsoft Office tools to perform his/her job.Excellent written and oral communication skills.  Ability to prepare an analysis, position or recommendation and back it up with appropriate reasoning and analytical construct.

 

Desired:Experience in  the rubber and plastic industryExperience managing, planning, and monitoring unionized maintenance crafts people in a manufacturing organization.Experience in the design, implementation, and integration of Plant/Equipment Reliability and maintenance processes.Experience with lean program implementation, six sigma implementations, kaizen event facilitation, six sigma tools, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) etc.  Not just bookwork, or training classes but actually putting the theory into practice. Proven ability to utilize these tools and train others resulting in step change improvement demonstrated by process improvements, cultural change, and real bottom line improvement
