We are currently looking for a Senior Manager of Loss Prevention to join our Corporate Headquarters in Commerce, CA.
The Senior Manager of Loss Prevention will manage all facets of the company’s loss prevention and security department mission. The Senior Manager’s primary function is to lead all Corporate Loss Prevention and Security activities to include providing support across operating companies and department/divisions. The Senior Manager also oversees all investigations and the investigative staff and provides assistance and guidance to the Manager (s) and other support personnel.
Essential Job Duties:
Direct and manage all investigations for all corporate and store locations through the Manager, Investigations and the Area Loss Prevention Managers.
Liaison with department and executives at all levels within the organization regarding specific compliance questions, policies/procedures, and sensitive investigations.
Oversee all security activities for the corporate to include retail perimeter security, distribution access, and fleet security.
Review and evaluate changes in corporate loss prevention and security policies, procedures and methods. Specifically responsible for the development and maintenance of the company’s loss prevention manual.
Oversee and participate in corporate task teams related to new security and loss prevention strategies. Primary leadership role as the corporate representative in this critical area of expertise.
Oversee all facets of the Corporate Security Services Program.
Participate in external committees and actively pursue membership in groups related to Corporate Loss Prevention and Security to maintain a high level of awareness and best practices in the industry.
Conduct continuing education programs for Loss Prevention staff, senior executive, management, and field operatives on security and loss prevention topics to create a “best in class” loss prevention system for the organization
Achieve all department goals and objectives established by the Director, Risk Management and/or Chief Legal Officer.
Perform other projects as assigned by the Director, Risk Management and/or Chief Legal Officer. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other related discipline
10 plus years of experience in Loss Prevention Management
Certified Protection professional (Preferred)
Experience in supervision of associates
Performs effective verbal and written communication
Excellent logical, analytical reasoning, and problem solving skills
Excellent organizational, motivational and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel extensively
Proficient with Microsoft office Programs.
