Security Operations Director

In this role, the Security Operation Director is responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive, cost-effective security program that is compliant with GE Corporate and GE Healthcare security policies.

Key responsibilities include ability to design, communicate and implement security compliance required to meet business objectives. Communications include written, verbal and presentation format of complex security concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff.

The Director will work closely with all business P&L's to ensure full compliance with security-related requirements and to minimize operational risk by pursuing up-front and early involvement in these programs.

The Director will serve as a participating member of the GE Global Security Council, with special emphasis on physical and personnel security matters.

The Director will also maintain liaison with key functional leaders and will be a member of appropriate security industry associations.

Qualifications/Requirements:
*Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Industrial Security, Security Management, General Management or Business with 8 years general administration/management, safety/security experience with at least 4 years in a senior management capacity Engineering
*Minimum of 8 years general administration/management, safety/security experience with at least 4 years in a senior management capacity.
*Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to solve problems, project manage and build rapport at all levels within an organization.
*Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 35% of time.
*You must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Desired:
*Experience has been gained through employment with a licensed contract security provider, service in a branch of the military, or employment with a federal, city, or state police and/or sheriff department.
*Excellent knowledge of investigative techniques and procedures required along with the ability to work with a variety of skilled, unskilled, professional, and administrative personnel.
*Proven Executive Leadership skills in driving Global change across an organization, including strong Change Acceleration Process skills
*Demonstrated ability to lead courageously, maintaining a strong position amidst opposition to resolve important issues, and ability to navigate through a large complex business.
