Web Developer – JSP, CSS, HTML, XML, Struts, JavaScript

We are looking for a Web Developer to implement world-class ecommerce solutions as well as help to extend our industry leading web-based ecommerce platform. The desired candidate must be self-motivated, creative, passionate and able to fit into the fast paced dynamic environment. The position will require constant contacts with developers, designers, project managers, and product managers.

Required Skills and Experience:

2-5 years expertise in Client-side programming including hand-coding JSP, HTML, Struts, JavaScript, CSS, and DHTML across a range of browsers.

Expert knowledge of JSP, Custom Tags (usage and creation of tags)

Knowledge of JSTL and common open source tag libraries

Experience using JavaScript for validation, DHTML, UI manipulation, experience working with and creating JavaScript objects.

Ability to create and use CSS for table-less layout of web pages

Unrelenting passion for creating incredible world-class interfaces

Ability to learn quickly while producing results

Good communication and personal skills: ability to interact and work well with members of other functional groups in a project team

Additional Desired Skills:

Ecommerce experience

Some familiarity with Java

Working knowledge of SQL basics

Working knowledge of Unix operating systems
