Maintenance Supervisor

The Supervisor – Maintenance is responsible for the maintenance of the powered equipment and the PowerMax facility.  This position will supervise maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of sortation equipment, conveyors, powered lift equipment, HVAC equipment and buildings and grounds. Position Responsibilities
Provides assistance to Manager – Maintenance with development of preventative maintenance programs for the equipment of the PowerMax facility.
Supervises skilled maintenance personnel in the repair and maintenance of electrical and mechanical sortation equipment.
Controls and maintains inventory of spare parts to support the preventative maintenance program.
Develops and controls procedures for repair and housekeeping services.
Develops trains and monitors safe work practice for the facility.
Ensures compliance with OSHA regulations and remains current with changes.

Position Requirements·  High School graduate with two years in technical or trade school preferred·  Previous exposure to  a warehouse or distribution facility typically achieved with a minimum of three years work experience·  Previous supervisory experience helpful·  Developed and demonstrated oral and written communication skills·  Familiar with local building codes and OSHA regulations·  Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and/or situations·  Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
