We seek an experienced Engineer with experience in architecting,

designing and deploying mission critical solutions with technologies

such as UNIX, Linux, Windows, Relational Databases, Veritas NetBackup,

Veritas Volume Manager and high-availability clustering. The successful

candidate will architect, design, install, configure, manage, and tune

highly available environments. Candidates should have substantial domain

expertise in at least one of the disciplines referenced above and feel

comfortable working with professionals in client organizations in pre

and post sales environments.

 

Position requirements include a minimum of an Associates degree, at

least five years work experience in UNIX and Veritas plus strong

interpersonal and communication skills. Working under the general

supervision, the successful candidate will be responsible for the

successful and profitable delivery of Strategic Technologies solutions

within the South East region.

 

Essential Functions

 

Systems/Storage installation, configuration, integration, and

management. Systems/Storage administration, tuning, sizing,

architecture, and design. Experience with UNIX, Linux, Windows, Veritas

NetBackup, Veritas Volume Manager, clustering, STK, HDS and EMC highly

desirable.
