Business Analyst (IT)

Business Analyst (IT) Description: Perform requirements for the Development and Test Teams.


To assist the customer in clarifying their requirements and documenting them in a form that the Development and Test Teams can implement and deploy.


Subsequent responsibilities are to validate functionality on behalf of the user and provide post-deployment documentation as required.


Execute a senior role as an individual contributor to create user Stories for all requirements.


Analyze and document business goals, objectives, needs,
processes and requirements.


Gather information by performing research, facilitating working
sessions, and conducting interviews.


Verify functional requirements are implemented as expected in
the released product.


Learn to use the existing modeling system and base system.


Create post-implementation support documentation and training
materials.




Requirements:
Fast paced, delivery-oriented, iterative development environment focused on rapidly delivering a high quality software product to an internal customer. The existing base system is used for modeling business processes, the data and the computing systems used by those processes. Process modeling system uses a customized implementation of IBM Rational Rose.


JOB SKILLS: Strong competency in functional and business requirements analysis to produce high quality documentation and deliverables. Practical experience writing user stories so they may be re-used for design, testing, and user documentation purposes.
Minimum of 7 years general business analysis. Participated in all software development life cycle phases (requirements, design, development, and implementation) for customer facing systems.
Relevant 4 year Bachelor's degree.


Travel: Yes (relocation involved).
