Program Coordinator

Job Purpose: Provides recreation and service programs by identifying interests and needs; developing and coordinating requirements.

Duties:

* Identifies preferred recreational and service programs by conducting manager and employee surveys; forming focus groups; surveying community agencies.

* Keeps abreast of recreational and service trends by benchmarking best practices; identifying and adapting programs to organization culture; developing recommendations.

* Develops recreation and service programs by organizing and coordinating requirements.

* Publicizes recreation and service opportunities by developing communication channels.

* Meets financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.

* Provides employee discounts by developing ordering and billing procedures.

* Provides personal services by identifying and negotiating with vendors.

* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.

* Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
