HR Specialist/Testing Specialist

Essential job duties and responsibilities include:
Responsibilities: This position will support recruitment and staffing activities including, but not limited to:
Administering Qwest employment tests to candidates.
Conducting reference checks, report drug testing and background check results to appropriate personnel; schedule start dates for new hires.
Creating offer letters for all levels of employment.
Assisting with sourcing, screening and qualifying applicants for organization employment opportunities. Attending career fairs if necessary.
Prepare and manage employee and job recruiting files
Job Functions:
Greet applicants and candidates.
Deliver pass/fail information to test-takers.
Responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of Qwest employment tests.
May train or provide support to others.
Application of detailed knowledge of functional HR, selection testing and recruiting policies and practices.
Must be able to work effectively with individuals at all management levels. Will be in a team environment requiring excellent communication and partnership skills.
Must be computer literate with strong proficiencies in Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet Explorer systems. Experience using recruiting software a plus. Ability to operate general business machines such as copier, calculator, fax machine, or other office machine as necessary.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast paced environment are also required. Requires strong skills in prioritizing and multi-tasking, and managing ambiguity.
Basic (REQUIRED) Job Qualifications:
3 years experience in a customer responsive, interactive support role, preferably within a Human Resources staffing/recruiting environment.
High school education or equivalent.
Professional attitude and appearance.
