Human Resources Manager - Great Facility!

Our Client is one of the world’s largest producers of superior consumer products in one of the most stable and rapidly growing consumer categories. They are a $1 Billion (in annual sales) and growing industry leader operating numerous manufacturing facilities strategically located throughout the United States. Reporting directly to the Corporate Director of Human Resources and working closely with an experienced management team at one of their most established production facilities, you will be responsible for all issues relative to managing HR functions including recruiting, hiring, training, grievance management, benefit administration employee communications, incentive programs, compensation, employee safety and ensuring federal, state, local and Company policy and procedure compliance.
Qualifications:
To be considered, you MUST possess the following:Bilingual in English & Spanish both written and verbal Minimum of 5 years professional Human Resource Generalist experience, preferably in a Distribution or Manufacturing environment Minimum of 2 years Human Resources Management Experience supervising HR professionals, preferably in a Distribution or Manufacturing environment Union avoidance expertise or experience working in a union environment Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Public Administration, Business Administration or related degree Documented experience with employment law, wage & hour, ADA, EEOC, FMLA, OSHA Knowledge of HRIS, SAP and time keeping systems (Kronos, Ceridian) Excellent written and verbal communications skills Solid PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
DDI - Development Dimension Certification not mandatory, but would be a big plus
Duties:
Managing the recruiting, selection, hiring and orientation process for all positions Analyzing and streamlining the on-boarding process for new employees Handling employee relations matters to include conflict resolution, sexual harassment, etc Supervising benefit administration Developing, coordinating and conducting training programs Ensuring legal compliance with all employment related federal, state and local laws Administering company policies and practices Moving managers and supervisors through continuous change management Implementing disciplinary and grievance procedures Implementing, monitoring and maintaining safety programs Other related duties as necessary and/or directed by management
